Tell us a little bit about yourself (50 words or less).
I am a nature and travel enthusiast with a love for animals, pizza, and dinosaurs. I study Natural History and I am still a big kid at heart. I love to try new things, have fun and I try to make every day count. I’d love to be a comedian, but I think I’d be the only one laughing at my jokes.
List three words you would use to describe yourself.
Adventurous, childlike and weird
You’re stuck on a deserted island – what three things would you bring with you?
I would bring both my dogs and my camera
What are your hobbies?
I play guitar and draw a lot. I love exploring, taking photographs, and traveling is one of my biggest passions.
What was your first tattoo? Did it have any special meaning?
I got my first tattoo as soon as I turned 18, in a shop next to my school. I was being rebellious and decided to get a swallow to ‘symbolize me being an adult and free to do what I want’ – turns out being an adult comes with a lot of responsibilities.
How many tattoos do you have? Do you have a favorite? Where do you get inked?
I’m not sure I can count! Over 17? I have a 2 favorites. One is the tattoo of my dogs by Ashley Davies and the other is my pizza and beer mug tattoo by Jeremy Miller. He was one of my favorite artists and I never thought I would be able to get tattooed by him because he works in Texas and I am from the UK. Luckily, I found out he was doing a guest spot down here and I knew I HAD TO get tattooed by him.
What do your tattoos mean to you?
Some have meaning, and those are the tattoos I got during hard times. My Deathbat tattoo which has “I’ll Stay Unbound” written above it is from a time in my life when I overcame a lot of obstacles. My tea cup and roses tattoo reminds me of my grandparents, but most of them are just stuff I like or things I thought would look awesome.
What do you think your tattoos say about you?
I think they say ‘I don’t take myself too seriously’… I have cartoon dogs, a pizza and a beer mug and a monster treasure chest on my skin.
What was your most painful tattoo? Why?
I think my back was definitely the most painful. I’ve never had to tap out before but this time I came pretty close. I’m still scared to get it finished.
Do you lean towards a specific style of tattoo?
I like most styles. Mine are mainly new school or neo-traditional tattoos, but I also have Japanese-style and black and grey.
What’s your opinion on flash art?
Personally, I like to come up with my own ideas but I’ve seen some amazing flash art and there definitely is a lot of talent in that art form.
Do you prefer one style of tattoo over another?
I like colour tattoos on myself and I absolutely love realism tattoos. I don’t have any realism tattoos! I need to get one!
How many piercings do you have? What’s your favorite?
I have 9 piercings at the moment, I really love my septum piercing because I have so much nice septum jewelry.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be?
Leonardo Di Caprio, Salvador Dalí, and Kurt Cobain
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I believe the most valuable thing you could have is time, so I would be able to stop time and restart it again whenever I wanted, without aging any quicker of course.
