The newest incarnation of Superman will be hitting the big screen come June 14, and for those who are gearing up for Man of Steel, you just know it’s going to be good! It’s been a long while since we last saw Superman, and despite new versions coming and going, both in the movies as well as television, this caped superhero never has to do much to hold our attention.
With the intense action, destruction, the storyline, the cool effects, and the heavy dose of sci-fi goodness, people are very excited! Whether it’s because of their incessant, testosterone-fueled admiration, (guys who want to be him) or their estrogen-fueled lust for the muscular knight in shining spandex (ladies who want to be with him, as in dreaming they are the lovely Ms. Lois Lane), who doesn’t dig his superpowers? Lex Luthor, that’s who! And it’s being rumored that good old Lex will be making an appearance in this film!
While that can mean just about anything, if there is one place we are going to be happy about having Superman and his ubiquitous logo on, it’s our bodies. As in, our body jewelry. That’s right, Superman body jewelry. Superman plugs, Superman tongue rings, and for those who are up for just being adorned in Superman gear, belt buckles! What better way to declare you own superpowers, while giving a nod to Clark Kent himself?
