You probably already know this, but dermal piercings aren’t just for daredevil teens or angst-filled college students. Society as a whole is still slightly bothered by tattoos and piercings, but a few beautiful celebs are showing the world that extreme piercings can fit into the mainstream world just fine. From reality stars to athletes, dermal piercings and implants are showing up on the faces and bodies of famous folks across the nation.
It’s no secret that the cast of Teen Mom 2 loves piercings. Leah and Jenelle have belly button rings, while Chelsea has several piercings in her face. Amber was the first one to get a dermal implant, though. During the season finale, fans noticed a shiny silver piercing directly below her right thumb. Chelsea Houska has made several references to dermal implants on her Facebook and Twitter accounts, stating that she wants one but isn’t sure where to get it. Currently, it is not known whether Chelsea went ahead and got a dermal done. Sassy Nikkole Paulun from 16 And Pregnant, MTV’s first series about young moms, has dermal implants in her hips.
